Re: New owner - Sat nav question

Hi Paddy,
Welcome to the forum.
As for address for the 'townland name' have you tried touching the map screen on the place in question, then edit the dropped pin to give it a name, then saving it.
The position should then be always available to you.

Re: Hello!

Welcome to the forum HardwareHarry,

Mine is as the ones shown above but I believe the hybrid4 is without the space for spare due to the siting of batteries.

Re: A quick question if I may.

All consumption figures being affected by the way each of us drive and where, when, obviously but would think the grandland will perform better than the kuga. The bigger diesel isn't as economical and the smaller engine being underpowered so also less economical, I believe. My lower average mpg figu...

Re: A quick question if I may.

Yeah, can agree, mine is very quiet for a diesel but as we know they tend to become a little noisier with age. Had over 73mpg on a motorway run, again recently it was 65mpg. Overall consumption, all roads, averages at 54mpg. I did 50k in a 1.6D 3008 over 4 years and averaged 54mpg so would expect no...

Re: Wind deflectors

Ebay have them advertised through a small number of suppliers.
I don't offer this as an endorsement but this is one advertisement on eBay.

Re: 12v socket in the boot.

I'll endorse what GRANDLANDX68 says about changing them out, certainly not easy but not the worst of jobs. Picture 1 shows the filter housing cover, visible after removing the lower trim under the steering wheel. I managed to get my arm across and removed the cover but pulling the filter was difficu...

Re: 12v socket in the boot.

Certainly not very well designed.
Thankfully the replacing of fuses isn't a regular event. I can't remember the last time I needed to change one. The board ought to be located where it can be accessed easily.
Not for the faint hearted.

Re: 12v socket in the boot.

For the boot socket fuse, un-clipping and deflecting the 'white cover' downwards, the fuses are visible and accessible but may require a pair of long nosed pliers in order to reach them. The other method is to unclip the attached connectors and loom from the cover allowing it to be withdrawn allowin...

Re: 12v socket in the boot.

Yeah, absolute pain.
After removing the glove box, the 'white shield' will lift away and allow a little more access but removing the attached connectors from it and then deflecting the locator lugs isn't easy.
