Is the some risk involved in bisconnecting the battery?

Do you know if there is a fuse which protects the fuel door lock? Where do I find the fuse box?

I have 2018 mode Grandland could anyone offer advice on how to open the fuel filler door which will not unlock. Is there an emergency opening mechanism.
