Re: Automatic Grandland X Drivers.

Interesting to know that cyberbob. Might see if mine does that. I know the electronic button for the handbrake doesn’t really need to be pressed, but I do it to kinda still give me some traditional feel to a car. Interesting on the just leaving it in D though. Mine always starts back up in N too. I...

Re: Automatic Grandland X Drivers.

I have a Peugeot 2008 with the same engine and 8 speed AT gearbox. I simply come to a stop with foot on brake and turn the engine off, car automatically puts handbrake on never bother knocking it out of drive as car does that when you switch the ignition off. Our manual Grandland X also puts on the ...

Re: What next?

We have just started a look as coming up to three years with our Grandland. Frontera is one that will be worth a look at others are XC40, GLA, Q3 and Tiguan. Deals are pretty poor across ICE cars from a bit of digging. Still shocking that a current Grandland Ultimate is more expensive than a XC40 or...

Re: Connected Services - beware

All Peugeot and Vauxhalls now have 6 months, my 2008 came with three years in March and is now 6 months on the facelift version. Just penny pinching along with unrealistic pricing across both brands. The number of models from PSA that now come without standard Sat Nav too, 32K car and SAT Nav is an ...

Re: Heater not working

Sounds like the blower motor has either ingested some debris and is sticking or the blower motor is faulty. Our first Grandland was a 68 plate and had to have a new blower motor under warranty after 18 months, only fault we had.

Re: Leather seats on 1.2 Elite Nav

Only the centre sections are real leather outers are leather effect. I use Gliptone leather conditioner and our seats look as good as new with 16K on the clock and over 2 years old. That does look like cracking of the pvc faux leather.

Re: Quick Mods

I have undertaken two quick mods was going to do on our last Grandland then knowing it might be going decided to leave it. Replaced the front side indicators with the smoked black scrolling type at £10.99 for the pair worth a punt and they do look good especially in operation. I like stock less the...

Re: What I love most about my Grandland is...

What I hate about it is the poor gearbox. When I change the car I'm going to consider an automatic. I have the automatic gearbox with the 1.2 petrol engine. I've done nearly 4,000 miles now and am very disappointed in the gearbox. The turbolag or what ever it's called is quite bad. Pulling out quic...

Re: What don't you like about your Grandland

After owning a brand new Peugeot 2008 130 GT Auto for 2 months, I can safely say our Grandland is quieter, smoother and more comfortable than the Peugeot. Build quality is similar and some of the switches and buttons are identical. Manual is much better and more controllable at low speeds than the a...

Re: NEW GRANDLAND ELITE/DELIVERY TIMES..

I think that Stelliantis is restricting supply/building of the Grandland as the leads times are almost comical. The 3008 has much shorter leads times (hybrid is still a longer wait) Then it has been announced an electric replacement for the Grandland is due in 2024, no word if it will be called Gran...
