Re: Park assist

I'd be interested on hearing from anyone who has actually used this and how it performs in real life. I read through the manual and, to be honest, it seemed like a bit too involved.. stopping.. activating.. driving slowly passed.. then.. then..., to be of practical use in a busy supermarket car park...

Re: Hybrid and E-Save & current battery levels

Thanks. I was kinda hoping it would do that but there was a little voice in my head that wasn't convinced, given other non-sensical behaviour of this car.

Re: Hybrid and E-Save & current battery levels

Just curious.. what would happen if I leave the car in full electric mode and the battery runs empty?
Does it automatically revert to Hybrid and the engine kicks in or do I just grind to a halt on the M25?

I keep meaning to try it but I'm not brave enough to risk being rear-ended! :D

Re: Hybrid and E-Save & current battery levels

Okay.. so my understanding was incorrect. Thanks for enlightening me.. :) But, what's the best/recommended way to drive the car? Should I leave it in Hybrid with 'B' mode or what? I'm not really understanding the point of having a pure electric mode if I'm not even going to get to the shops and back.

Re: Diagnostics - Grandland X

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I just found this on a quick search. Does anyone know if it's possible to get some logs out of OBD? Like, for example, showing the charging state and/or history. I'm particularly interested in finding out whether the battery is charging properly when I drive in H...

Re: head-up display

Just seen this post and I'm interested (ulterior motive).

But just wondering if this is legal in the UK. Anyone know?

Re: Hybrid and E-Save & current battery levels

I have a 2023 Ultimate and I concur that the battery life seems woeful. I haven't measured it but from a full charge the battery will be depleted in around 25-30 mins around town when driven in Hybrid mode. I don't see it being charged at all. After reaching 0% it stays there and never goes up. I do...

Re: 2023 ultimate questions

I agree on the app. Seems almost worthless to me. For a start, it doesn't allow the car to be owned/used by more than one driver! Both myself and my wife installed the app and as soon as either one of us logs in it seems to de-register the other. Next time the other person gets in the car we have to...

Re: D/B ???

Actually, I take issue with this feature being called 'one pedal' driving. It isn't! What it is is 'one FOOT' driving. True one pedal driving means not having to use the brake (unless in an emergency, or course). The car should slow down and come to a halt when you release the accelerator as on many...

Re: Keyless stop / start engine button

Good question!

I think I do A.
But sometimes I don't quite push the button long enough so maybe I also do B now and then.

Is there supposed to be a 'short press' vs 'long press' feature?
