Re: New grandland dates
Ordered an Ultimate edition 11/03 - was told by the dealer that the part shortages are all but resolved and August is looking like my delivery date. Nothing confirmed and not really holding my breath!

Re: Door trims squeaky
Probably needs re-seating. My passenger one has squeaked since new in 2018. You could ask the garage/dealership, but it'd be a couple hours labour to take off and put back, but no guarantee it'll fix it. I've just learnt to put up with it.

Re: Wet timing belt disintegrated, new engine required outside warranty
Another point, Vauxhall have changed the grade of oil they used. Mine has had main dealer service since new with 5w30. On this repair, they have used 0w30 instead. Mite be worth noting as everywhere I look, it still points at 5w30. Good point on the oil. Mine was done with 0w20 first service after ...

Re: Recall - Clutch master cylinder rework.
I had a new one fitted on my last service within warranty (Feb 2021) as my clutch was getting stuck down, not an issue since.

Re: Wet timing belt disintegrated, new engine required outside warranty
Had this happen to myself, luckily still in warranty, at about 32k miles and they managed resolve. Was told it was a poor quality belt, surely if it's a design issue they should be resolving?

Re: Wet timing belt disintegrated, new engine required outside warranty
I had the same issue, luckily no damage was done to the engine and I was still in warranty... Replaced with an uprated belt. I'd try go down the route of quoting the issues with the Peugeot and Citroen cars and really battle them. It's worked for me in the past with my Astra which was 3 years out of...

Re: Engine oil
I noticed on my last service 0w20 was put in, apparently to increase fuel effiency but burns off quite easy.

Re: Electric Parking Brake and Starting Issue
All ended up being to do with the wiring from the clutch switch to the rest of the computer systems. Cleaned up and reconnected and now all good if anyone gets something similar!
