Re: Faults after 11 months.
I had my Grandland X elite nav auto for 4 months & 7,000 miles. Part X’d it for an Audi Q5 as I was very disappointed in it. Sounds like I got rid of it just in time!!

I booked it into the dealers. They replaced it under the warranty but when I got the car back it wouldn’t open as far as the original!

Re: Drinking petrol.........
I did just under 7k miles in my grandland x elite nav 1.2 petrol auto. I always use a fuel app to accurately track my mpg. The grandland was giving an average of 36.84 mpg when I sold it

Another problem!
Took my Grandland into the local hand wash yesterday aft. They did their normal fairly good job but when I got home I couldn't lock the car using the keyless system, it would only lock using the key. Water must have got in to the electronics somewhere and stopped it working. It worked ok this mornin...

Had to unlock it, start the engine, shut it off again and re lock the car, then the wiper stopped moving. Also had the new tr...

Another problem!
The flap above the gear stick that covers the small storage area with the 12v & USB connections has broken and will no longer remain latched closed. I opened it yesterday and heard a sharp crack which must have been the latch breaking off. I think this car is very flimsy and has been built to as...

Re: Key Fob signal blocker
Yes, tried it when I first bought it and tried it again yesterday, still works.satellitemandaz wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 7:23 pm Did you try opening the Grandland with the key near it (in the bag)? Has it stopped the fob transmitting?
My key lives in its pouch/wallet whenever it's not need, my other key lives in my steel safe.

Re: What don't you like about your Grandland
My Grandland had to go back to the dealers today to have the pheasant damage repair finished. Asked them to check out the poor performance of the cooled seat. Surprise, surprise they informed me that it is operating correctly. So the poor cooled seat, greyed out infotainment text & bad auto gear...

Re: Recall
My car went in recently for the front grill to be replaced after I'd hit a pheasant. They mentioned a recall then but I never asked what it was so it may have been this. It's going in again next week for the job to be finished so I'll ask them then
