Does anybody know what the price of a cam belt change is on a 1.2 petrol please.
How many miles have you done so far to need the cambelt changing? :o

Recommendation to change the timing belt/cam belt is 80k miles or 6 years.

Re: hi to all

Hi and welcome, it seems like the Grandland is a natural progression from the Mokka for many. Make sure you confirm specs with the dealer though for what you want.

Happy driving!

Re: Hello New to the group

Lots of positives to report amongst the grumbles. Still think the Grandland is my best choice on the market for the price I wanted to pay. Certainly wouldn't want the plastic Peugeot!!

Re: OBD 2 Port

Managed to find the OBD port to try out my new Carista Bluetooth dongle, found it but sadly not compatible with the Grandland. But here it is, the OBD is orange and on the left.

Re: Recommendations for quiet tyres on Grandland X 1.2T petrol Sport Nav (18s)

I have the Michelin Primacy Green on mine too - I think they are the stock tyres. I hate them! The tread is bizarre - do you find that when you cross over white lines for example the tyres dont seem to keep their grip and the car sways ever so slightly and seems to lose control? Im at 20k and they a...

Re: New North East Owner

Im seeing more and more GLX around the NE now, Ive spotted a few diesels too as it seems that they are now badging them with a D at the end of the Turbo lettering to differentiate.

Happy travels!

Re: Poor mpg

As you’d expect, there are pros and cons to either manual or automatic and its a debatable subject, but it largely depends on your circumstances and your driving style. The main plus point to driving a manual car is that you have more control over the car itself over the automation of when the car t...

Re: Radio recall

Ive had the recall done on the radio/infotainment system, theres no difference to it other than it wont crash anymore which was the problem that I had. Everyone was hoping they would fix the problem with the dark text that no one could read, but it seems they didnt want to do that.... Thats just one...

Re: Stop / Start Benefits?

Likewise I always find when it's enabled and it stops the engine whilst I am in slow traffic, within seconds the traffic moves and so I don't think there is any benefit. In fact I think it puts more stress on the starter and belts, probably discharges the battery and uses more fuel! I usually antic...
