Re: Odd starting issue, electric mirrors don't open etc.

No faults had been raised on the record and they are hesitant to replace something that cannot be easily replicated right now, so its just my word. 'Feel free to bring it back...

I'm touching wood, I've had no issues with my car for a week, it's been working just fine. Weird situation...

Re: Odd starting issue, electric mirrors don't open etc.

Longshot, but did anyone's car 'unlock itself' prior to the more disruptive issues. Locking my car 100% and coming back to find it unlocked despite keys safely secured.

Re: Odd starting issue, electric mirrors don't open etc.

Not facing this issue which is good however whats the recall for? Hi The recall was for the wet timing belt issue, but at the time they also said they did some tech updates to a few cars. Re: Amber engine light intermittent

Welcome on board Stevie, I havent come across this as an O2 sensor issue on the Grandland before. Although you can never say never.

Re: Odd starting issue, electric mirrors don't open etc.

I had a recall done a few months ago but they never gave me any paperwork afterwards. Anyone else had the recall recently, assuming that this fault is happening on the first generation models that needed the recall. Trying not to curse it, but I havent had the problem now for the last two days....

Sounding hopeful, fingers crossed.

It's just weird we are all just starting to experience this issue.

Did you have the recent recall work done? Wondering if they updated firmware which caused the issue....
