Re: firmware/satnav updates

Hi GLX

Tried your instructions, it just takes me straight to the TOM TOM homescreen. Even when I search it on the built in units it gives the Vauxhall. I click on it and it takes me straight to the Vauxhall website, log in and it is still only 2019-Q3..

Why can't things be simple

Re: firmware/satnav updates

Thanks GLX. I followed your instructions, got to the Tom Tom Page and followed the links for in dash systems. This took me to the Vauxhall site and down loaded 2019-Q3 update. Does that sound right to yourself?

Re: Back in again

You wont regret doing it as it makes a massive difference.
I get the feeling I won't. Quick question do your rear
Sensors still work with the camera?

Re: Back in again

Well I got it back. Heater panel seems to be working after it being replaced. The stop start is working with the new battery and the heated windscreen has been reconfigured for the drivers side to start first then the passengers. This makes sense for a right hand drive car. So all good so far with t...

Re: Back in again

What really gets me is that it has taken nearly 2 years to get here. It is obvious dealers are not listening or cannot have the ability to repair properly.

Anyhow next stage is to fight for compensation or good will gesture.

Re: Back in again

Just been notified by Vauxhall that they have:- "I can confirm the new heater control panel has been fitted for the temperature gauge, a new battery has been fitted for the concern with the start/stop function and the heated front screen has been reconfigured, to now heat the driver’s side first. Ou...

Re: Stop / Start issues

I currently have a Toyota Avensis hire car. Since getting it the stop start works every time under every conceivable setting. The only time it doesn't is when it is set to the windscreen then the system tells you it is deactivated for climate control. Withe GLX is all hit and miss.
