Re: Switching to eco mode with radio on

You can switch off the engine, then press the Stop/Start button without your foot on the cluck and it will turn on the ignition but not the engine and this will allow for the Radio to come on. It will go off after a while but you can keep doing this, however, the Insignia used to have a feature that...

Re: What phone holder works for you in a Grandland?

I've stopped using the built in Nav and use Google all the time. The maps are more up to date (and no fiddly download/USB/Sitting for 30 to 90 minutes for the update) and best of all is the live and very accurate traffic info.

Re: What phone holder works for you in a Grandland?

This is the one I bought. It automatically clamps the phone once you put it on the stand. It's a wireless charger (because the built in one in the Grandland is Crap). It connects with Micro USB cable. The only issue I have is my phone is USB C and in order to use Android Auto I need to use the only ...

Re: Severe lack of power

Happened again last night and managed to record some video while phone was in it's holder on dashboard. It doesn't do it justice, but you can see the shutter when I try to accelerate. Thought I'd share in case some else gets this.

How is the USB Key formatted? NTFS, FAT, FAT32?

Also, Licence is a noun, License is a verb

Severe lack of power

So, had my 1.5 Diesel since June 2018, and I seem to have been fairly lucky so far from what I've read on the forums, but lately I've had some issues. I'm getting the horrible noise when braking in reverse, my heating/cooling fans are now quite noisy, but the worst issue I've had (and it's happened ...

Re: Changing the clock - Time for uk

To change the time for the clock change you do NOT set the time and you don't change the time zone , you simply turn DST on or off. On in Sprint and Off in Autumn, it's a setting right beside the Time/time Zone setting, Leave the clock set to Automatic and the time will be correct.

Re: Clock display

The Clock will sync with GPS to keep the time up to date, it will not however automatically change Daylight Savings (DST) on or off, you will have to do this manually, it's within the date/time settings. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll get the details/steps when I get in the car next. Rega...
