Re: Wet timing belt disintegrated, new engine required outside warranty

Evening all. Haven't been here for an age but glad I came back and saw this. I have a 21 plate grandland X and the red oil light comes on occasionally (since it's service three weeks ago actually) and a few times the 'Top up oil level' error flashes up. Turn the engine off, start again and it's all ...

All sounds stop - radio / bluetooth / sensors

Afternoon all. Have had the Grandland for a couple of years and recently I have been having a intermittent fault. When I switch on, its a random chance whether or not the audio of the car works - not just the radio but the bluetooth and parking sensors. Visually everything is working fine, you can s...

Re: Stop / Start issues

Just had the same thing - haven't driven it a lot lately and Baylis just said the stop start won't kick in if the battery is under 80% charged.....that seems quite a low threshold to me but don't know how much it takes out of the battery to start the Grandland a few times a journey. Now they have it...

Tested here this morning and yup, the in and out trick works - no longer will I look like an aged demented break dancer (without the lino) trying to open the bloody boot!

Re: Grandland servicing costs.....

I am paying 22.65 a month to the Baylis service plan thing for my Grandland. So say there is money left in the account after the first / third / fifth etc interim service to top up the second / forth / sixth year big service. Had it on the old zafira as well - the money I had left on the account for...

Re: MPG - 1.2T Petrol Auto

Not bad going - I have the manual version and am getting about 30mpg at the moment. Saying that, its start stop traffic and no long runs for a month or so. Even switched the auto start / stop off when in traffic so that probably doesn't help!

Tyre pressure monitor

Morning all.

Quick question - when I look at the onstar dashboard, all it says is tyre pressure good.
Next to it is an image of a car with dashes next to each tyre - why is the pressure not being displayed?

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Re: Intelligent Traction Control

Mm, in that case - what the buggery is that button. Handbook time - sure the sales woman told me it was traction.
