Tried that this morning, but couldn't test it. This evening, no crackles. We shall see if it persists.GRANDLANDX68 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 5:10 am Have you tried resetting the Nav screen back to Factory settings? This usaully solves most issues.

Bluetooth/Mic Problem
I have a problem with the Bluetooth mic connection to my phone. I have an increasingly frequent problem with people hearing me on the phone. The description given is "crackles" that completely obscure the sound from my end. I hear the other person perfectly. This is not just on one phone -...

IIRC, PSA has a similar system.

Re: Tyre pressure monitor
I think that's correct, Spikey.
It's a software system that needs no extra hardware to work.
IMO, it's less to go wrong, and fewer expensive parts to replace.

Re: Sat Nav Safety/Speed cams alerts
TBH, I found my standalone TOMTOM works better for traffic info AND I get camera alerts, so I still use that.
The TMC traffic info is shockingly bad. My TOMTOM gets it from my phone's internet connection.
Seeing as the car system is also TOMTOM based, it's a shame that's not an option.

Re: Dashcams
I have mine to the left of the camera in the windscreen, behind the mirror.
I can only just see the bottom of it.
It was a pig to run the cable up inside the door pillar trim. I ended up using a borescope camera I have to run a string down, then used the string to pull the cable up.

I'm not surprised. Apple are notorious for not taking up industry standards - they'd rather force their users into buying more Apple products...

Re: Oil level correct
I get that all the time. I've been used to it from a van I used to drive. I think it's normal.
