Re: Locking wheel nut key

Good news! Got called up yesterday that the key had come through, pretty quick considering I ordered on Monday afternoon..did a quick check and it fit snugly so its the right one which is excellent. Now just need to get the car booked in for the tyre repair!

Cheers all!

Re: Locking wheel nut key

Thanks everyone for the advice. It's been quite a mission today. Went to local dealer but after showing the photo the parts department apologised and said they couldn't do anything unless we had a code which I had feared. Said the alternative would be to have the lock drilled out but that could dama...

Re: Locking wheel nut key

Thanks all, I had a thorough look, taking everything out of the boot and glovebox but can't find it. I don't think it's ever had it's wheels off as it's only done an interim and minor service so far, the existing wheel bolts still look new without scratches. I've spoken to the dealership who say tha...

Locking wheel nut key

Hi All, The unfortunate happened and got a screw in my tyre, slow puncture so only noticed it with the noise when driving. Went to local to get it repaired but couldn't find the locking wheel nut key anywhere. Bought the car new and luckily never needed it for the last couple of years. I have the em...

Re: Android Auto

Pity! It's not terrible by any means, still works just as well, but thought it might have been a configuration issue with my phone. Thanks for checking!

Android Auto

Hi All, Have been using Android Auto for a while but have always noticed a small black bar at the top of the screen. The icons all look fine, circles are circular, but it's not using the full screen. Wife uses apple car play and it fills the whole screen. Anyone experience the same? Running a Google...

Re: Automatic gearbox annoyance

It's not just me then :) with the automatic if I put it into manual mode in firs,t when braking it definitely feels more linear, no sudden disengagement at the last minute leading to that hard braking jolt. It's just rather annoying, especially in start / stop traffic.

Re: Automatic gearbox annoyance

Thanks, most times it's fine. I only notice it more when after stopping, then lift off to creep then having to use the brakes again. Definitely feels like engine management disengaging. I'll try it with start/stop being turned off.

Cheers

Automatic gearbox annoyance

Hi, So wondering if anyone is experiencing the same. I have a 1.2T 8spd automatic and when going up and down gears it's great. When coming to a complete stop and braking gently, at the last moment before stopping the brakes bite because it feels like the clutch is engaging, so no more engine braking...

Re: Reversing Cameras

Hi Dsrogan,

Are the grid lines in line with the actual wheels? So basically the wheels follow the exact location of the lines when reversing?

Cheers
