Re: Stop / Start issues

Mine went to the dealer several times and was always given excuse need to drive it more, bring it in we will charge it and test it. Followed by nothing wrong. They eventually gave up of me saying new battery. Fitted and no problems even though it is sat more now with the state of the world. Couple o...

Re: Hazard lights flashing rapidly when locked

Mine does the same. Done a search online and looks like it is a Peugeot thing. Pressing the lock button a second time causes the hazards to flash repeatedly so you can locate your car. Apparently you can change this in the settings if you don't want it turned on.

Re: Stop / Start issues

As I have mentioned above a fix has now been completed on my car and 8 days later it is still going. I have everything turned and I do not have an AGM battery. Stoo start is working all the time and as you would expect. It might be worth others reaching out to the dealers and enquire about the softw...

Re: Stop / Start issues

Update - day 7 after start stop was looked at and fix was applied. Bloody cold weather, nothing turned off to save power, aircon, lights, stereo the lot left running and the stop start is working all the time. Will update of it changes but looks like fix PSG have come up with might have worked.

Re: Stop / Start issues

Re: What don't you like about your Grandland

I love mine even though it had to go back for a month while waiting for parts as reverse was crunching (turned out to be crack in 5th and 6th selector arm. The usual intermittent stop start but touch wood all working now (dont have blower on windscreen unless demisting). The only thing that really w...

Re: Vauxhall gearbox

Vauxhall have got back to the dealer and said get it in so they can drop the gearbox and investigate reverse gear. They also stated that they have had reports of this gearbox stripping the teeth on reverse gear. Only had it 2 months so god knows what kind of life it had before i bought it. Just a he...

Re: Vauxhall gearbox

So, Grandland has gone in today to investigate the reverse gear crunch. Appears that the synchromesh for reverse is either shot or non existant. Job request raised with Vauxhall so waiting to see what they come back with. 2 months having it I feel my past 2 years of owning an astra which needed new ...

Re: Vauxhall gearbox

Cheers. Booked it in to get checked as sounds like there is a mini Tyrannosaurus Rex in there when changing to reverse.

Vauxhall gearbox

First post for me. Had my 68 plate Grandland for 2 months now and love it. Previously had an Astra but it was riddled with problems. New gearbox and engine (thankfully all under warranty). The only issue I have is reverse gear (and 1st to 2nd seems to be rougher than the rest of the changes but seen...
