Snow and sleet

The other day there was quite heavy sleet/snow coming down and a warning popped up on the driver information display saying automatic emergency braking unavailable (or similar), followed by the orange icon of a car with horizontal lines. I am assuming it had something to do with the snow/sleet on th...

Re: Puddle Lights

If these are what I think they are, they won’t fit the Grandland as its puddle lights are leds in the wing mirrors, not door lights.

Re: New introduction

Welcome to the forum Dag and great to hear about your new car. Definitely the 17 inch wheels will give you a slightly more comfy and quiet ride than the 18s on my sport model. I agree the missing boot light is ridiculous, wonder though if the wiring is there for it? Should be easy to fit one. Also y...

Re: Tomorrow is the day

Sounds fabulous Harry, hopefully by the time I changed mine in a few years time they will tweak the spec a bit more - certainly looking forward to the extra adjustability with those new seats. I also have a 1.2 turbo manual, nicely run in now (20K on the clock) and although almost all my driving is ...

Re: Clock display

I had the same as the clock was synchronised to GPS and didn't change with time savings. I turned off the GPS sync, set it manually and then renabled the GPS sync. That seemed to fix it! ( to set the time, you need to disable GPS sync in the time/date settings (settings page).) Then click the pencil...

Re: Tomorrow is the day

Glad you got it sorted! Yes seems they substantially changed the range specs recently and dropped some of the nice features not just from the sport but even the elite. I mean no reversing camera, no keyless entry and power tailgate even on the top elite! At least you get the AGR seats which I guess ...

Re: Grandland cabin pollen filter

Apparently I’ve been informed it’s the same as the Peugeot 3008, to the left of the steering column and behind the central console. It involves removing the lower trim in the drivers footwell and then sliding some of the ventilation duct out of the way left of the foot area to extract a pair of rect...

Re: ANNOYING RATTLE.

I was considering adding some extra soundproofing in the boot, maybe a sheet of sound deadening foam or matting to the floor. Could be an inexpensive solution? 😀

Re: Tomorrow is the day

I had exactly the same thing with the footrest, also I found it difficult to get used to the clutch. Then after a few days struggling to pull off smoothly I moved the seat back a bit, further than seemed natural but still able to press the pedals to the floor with my butt in the back of the seat. Vo...

Re: Grandland cabin pollen filter

No ideas? I notice outside smells seem to easily enter the cabin and with 20K on the clock I think the charcoal pollen filters could do with a change. They are readily available and inexpensive so
I would like to replace them myself if it’s an easy job.
