Headlight bulb connector clips (Halogen)

Hi everyone In replacing a headlight bulb (Halogen H7) on my Grandland X, the small black plastic clip broke off that keeps the connector secured into the back of the reflector. It appears you can probably remove the copper conductors from the plastic clip and just replace the latter. Does anyone kn...

Which way round to replace dipped or main beam H7 bulbs in Grandland X

Does anyone know which orientation the bulb holders and bulbs need to be when inserted into the rear of the lamp housings? I seem to be struggling getting them to fit and clip in. Grandland X sport 2018 with halogen bulbs. 😊

Re: Vauxhall app.

Fingers crossed, there's a new update (at least for iOS) on the app store this morning.

Re: Vauxhall app.

Same here, since the last update the app connects to the car but never records any journeys. I even had a random message about the time set on the vehicle differing to that on my phone. Whoever maintains this app needs to start again!

Re: Vauxhall app.

Mine started working a few days ago out of the blue, but all historical data has been lost and it's started from zero. My VIN and car details are now back and remain, which I assume is pulled from my Vauxhall connect account. The bad news is all my historic trip data has gone, so clearly that isn't ...

Re: Vauxhall app.

Glad it's not just me. I suddenly noticed my Vauxhall app has lost all its data, including details of my car! I tried reinstalling the app and logging in again but to no avail. I also tried re-entering my VIN but it just says invalid VIN! I've emailed Vauxhall support (for the app) but no response y...

Re: My start stop just flashes and doesn’t turn engine off

Mine always does this, I don't ever remember it working to be honest apart from when I purchased the car second hand from the dealer. I assume they charged it fully using a separate charger. Frequently even after long journeys the car will go into eco mode very quickly if the ignition is on (engine ...

Safety recall Grandland X 2017-18 (Brake assistance)

Received a letter today from Vauxhall for a safety recall on my mid 2018 Grandland 1.2 petrol. Apparently vehicle may be affected by a loss of brake assistance caused by timing belt particles in the engine oil circuit. Think we know where this one is going.... Apparently though they will address the...

Re: Idea for the 240V outlet in the Grandland

I ended up buying a USB powered LED lighting kit and fitted it under the front seats. Looks amazing and lights both front and rear footwells, with a choice of colour! App on the phone allows me to control it and it retains the status even when powered off. I've got it powered from a small USB charge...

Re: 1.2 Turbo any good?

You could always ask them to change it if you buy it. It may add a few hundred quid to the price but it should give you peace of mind. Mine has done about 30K and going really well (touch wood). I don't drive it hard though and look after it, so fingers crossed! I seem to remember you can book a bel...
