Re: Trouble shifting gears

Hi Vainona70, thanks for your response and comments. As you say and I agree it’s probably because the engine was cold and maybe due to not being used on a frequent basis. Anyway, it appears okay at the moment but will get it checked out at the next service as a precaution. Thanks again for your comm...

Trouble shifting gears

Hi Grandlanders, have an issue when cold starting and putting into gear my Jan 69 auto 1.2. I’ll assume the normal procedure is after starting, foot on brake, shift to reverse and switch off electric brake. It may because its cold or has been standing for a few days but I cannot get it into gear as ...

Rear boot area mat.

Hi GLX owners. Have read the info on the Forum reference the rear mat but not all suppliers detail whether it fits the removable board in the upper or lower position. I have a full 19” spare and the removable board is always in the upper position. Can anyone help as to a supplier for a reasonably pr...

Re: Newbie

Hi and welcome Cruncher, had my 19 plate petrol auto Elite for about six week and enjoying the ride. Hopefully you will be pleased with your vehicle and enjoy it as much as I do. I am travelling in France at the moment and pleased at not having to stick on the headlamp adjuster as Vauxhall state it ...

Re: Another newbie here hi all 😁

From a recent newbie, welcome. I am travelling with my GLX and enjoying the ride and getting to know the features etc. Must say that Vauxhall/PSA have done a good job apart from my minor niggles. Having had a Astra Elite prior I miss having automatic mobile phone connection indication, visual tyre p...

Re: Grandland X newby

Hi Moss5, thanks for the info. That’s a good idea I’ll give it a try. I was also thinking of say 2 x long threaded studs to use as a guide but the bar appears better with ability to lift and locate. Do you know if the existing bolts are standard M12 threads? Stay safe and thanks again.

Re: Grandland X newby

Thanks Grandlanders, have checked that the 19” wheel can be stored in the well, in fact it does state that in the manual p232. Having done that I found it a struggle to put the wheel back on the hub single handedly. Am I missing something because not having had to change a wheel for some considerabl...
