Re: Wireless Carplay / Access Siri

@Codermilk Sounds like you want to stream audio from your iPhone to the infotainment system via Bluetooth and control it via Siri? Only tried streaming music myself via Bluetooth to the Grandland from my phone and sounded great. I seem to remember I could change tracks via the steering wheel control...

Re: Wireless Carplay / Access Siri

If you have your iPhone connected and CarPlay is working, first make sure you have enabled Siri settings on your phone to allow Siri when locked, listen for Hey Siri (although these may not be necessary but what settings I use). Next the voice button on the steering wheel uses a short press to activ...

How long will battery last if not used?

Just curious if anyone has experience of not using their Grandland at all for a while and the battery going flat? Preferably for the 1.2 petrol but any experiences welcomed. Despite doing a long 300 mile drive recently, after a few weeks of only short trips I notice the economy mode message appearin...

Re: Voice control Navigation 5.0

I gave up with it a long time ago and just use CarPlay and Siri. The built in voice recognition seems ancient and has a very narrow acceptance bandwidth, with you having to say the exact patterns of words in a sentence in the correct order.

Re: petrol fuel cap doesn't tighten

So after a long wait for the parts to arrive from Germany, I'm happy to say the fuel tank and filler lines were replaced under warranty. Also had the drop links replaced which has cured the annoying noise when going over broken road surfaces.

Re: Grandland cabin pollen filter

Recently had my Grandland serviced by the main dealer and at least they changed the cabin filter (my dashcam was still on the car so could see them doing so). Definitely makes a difference to the air quality in the cabin.

Re: New tyres time.

I recently replaced all 4 tyres on my Grandland Sport with Michelin Primacy 3 225/55 R18 V (98). Always my favourites as they combine very low noise with long life and great performance in the wet. Black circles did a good deal.

Strange creaking noise

Driving back from the shops today and I noticed a very odd creaking noise. It was difficult to determine exactly where it was coming from but most noticeable with the windows closed and at low speed (20mph). It almost sounded like the creaking you sometimes hear when the handbrake is on and the car ...

Re: My Great Grandland

I really enjoyed watching this video, and completely agree with all said. I too considered the Peugeot 3008 before finally settling on the Grandland X sport. For me the cockpit of the 3008 felt a bit too much like a video game. Whilst I love technology in cars there are some things I prefer to be a ...
