I agree it is down to driving style. I have always squeezed excellent economy from the vauxhalls I have owned. Thanks. I just figured out that the corner metal part has to be pulled out with the latch slid against the spring. This results in a key but it doesn't really have any handle to it, other than the small chrome corner piece. I thought maybe then this somehow slots back into the existing plastic handl...
