Re: Stop / Start issues
I don't know much about car electrics but could it be that the altenator is not powerful enough to keep the battery charged when all the electric gizmos are switched on? Just a thought.

Re: Grandland control module
Got the car back today and everything seems to be working. I have a long trip to South Wales on Saturday so that should highlight any issues. Fingers crossed.

Re: Grandland control module
You are not on your own, my Grandland Tech Line Nav 177PS bought new in January has been off the road in the dealership since 12th Feb with collision warning error showing. Initial diagnosis brake sensor not working but since then it has been a nightmare. They had to replace the control module and i...

Re: Cycle rack advice
You need to shop around as I was also quoted £800+ to have a detachable towbar fitted but I found two local fitters that quoted under £500 that including the Grandland specific wiring loom and 13 pin plug (I tow a caravan). If you only want a towbar for a bike rack you should get it cheaper than tha...

Re: Towbars
I had a detachable fitted as I can remove it so it does not spoil the look of the car and I don't keep cracking my shins on it, I use it to tow a caravan so had dedicated electrics fitted for a 13 pin plug. I also use it for a towbar mounted bike rack. Th towbar when mounted interferes with the reve...

Re: Aftermarket Tow Bar
It was fitted at home and had a dedicated wiring loom so I assume it was coded in. I don't know the cost as my dealer paid for it as compensation for the car spec changing between the order date and delivery. Dark tinted rear windows, electric boot opening and key less start had all been removed. Ot...

Re: Aftermarket Tow Bar
I've just had a detachable after market swan neck tow bar fitted and when tow neck is in place it does affect the rear parking sensors, I don't know about the fixed one as I think the swan neck may sit further away from the bumper. If you look on PF Jones tow bar web site they explain the plus and m...
