Emergency braking.
Yesterday on the M8 in Glasgow I had to do an emergency brake from 60Mph to zero ,as someone had broken down unseen on a bend. I can tell you the Grandland was outstanding, braking fully on a bend brake lights and hazards flashing and no pulling from the steering. What a car, it has placed so so much...

Re: Engine warning lights
So the dealer put it on the computer and it showed 25 fault codes all relating to voltage. Speaking with the manager he is raising it with Vauxhall over the battery as their is an issue.
He wanted me to bring it back in next week but I am in Italy for ten days but on return I will.

Engine warning lights
Just started the engine after filling up and every warning light lights the dashboard up like a Christmas tree, and then all the bells ding all the way to the dealership. So currently on the diagnosis machine to find the issue. To be honest I cannot fault the dealership, maybe because they know I can...

Re: Stop / Start issues
Well a few weeks following kitkats advice, stop start works all the time. In the winter I know once outside temp hats to a certain level it won't come on and a warning comes up explaining this. I get the feeling the same goes in the summer when we have the fan on at low with A/C on the cat knows it's...

Re: Stop / Start issues
Even with the cooling seats on full blast the blower on full with AC and rear demister on it works. However take the temp to low it stops or put the heated screen on it it doesn't work. That must be a hell of a power muncher.

Re: Stop / Start issues

Get this I was asked if I was aware that there is 27 different reasons for it not coming on. My backside the batte...

Interior polish.
Out of curiosity, what type of polish / cleaner do you use for the interior. I have yet to find one when you open the door in rain or drizzle it doesn't look make the interior door look horrible.

Re: "Ding" noise whilst driving
It is definitely a voltage drop, but it does not stay registered when you switch off as it resets. If it happens go straight to the dealer and don't switch off.
