Re: Tesco Petrol

I mainly use Tesco petrol in my Grandland, but usually Tesco Momentum 99 (Super unleaded). Over 15,000 miles so far at 40 mpg +, with no issues.

In the corresponding submenus the following settings can be changed: ● Vehicle access Door unlock: Driver only: Changes the configuration to unlock the driver's door on or all doors when pressing O on the remote control. Re: How long will battery last if not used?

I suppose it depends on the condition of the battery when the car is parked up. Due to a health scare earlier this year, my GLX was parked up for 4 weeks while I was unable to drive per the DVLA. I chose not to start it on the driveway, thinking it would be better waiting until it could be driven fo...

Re: Automatic gear change

MPG will be dependent on the type of journeys you are doing. I'm getting 40 mpg with my mix of journeys, but if you only do short journeys (where car doesn't get to normal operating temperature) or city driving - 28 mpg may be right. Gear changes should be at lower RPM under low load (i.e. not accel...

Re: What don't you like about your Grandland

Not sure of any issues there have been with the Autos? The manuals have had problems with gearbox whines, in both Grandlands & 3008s. I find the 'Made in Japan' sticker on my auto box very reassuring.

Re: DAB

I find the DAB reception for National stations is good in the Fens between Cambridge & Peterborough where I live. Some stations with localised broadcasts (i.e. separate channels say for Cambridge & Peterborough) confuse the situation. Tend to listen to e-audiobooks via bluetooth when on long...
