The dealer mentioned this to me but wouldnt give any detail. The warranty invoice has no record of this and no ...

Re: Wet timing belt disintegrated, new engine required outside warranty

Hi all, just a little follow up on my missive from 27th September. I have had zero response from the CEO of Vauxhall or any of his cronies, but out of the blue, I received an email from the Service Manager of the garage that is dealing with my claim and he advised me of the ‘good news’ that the par...

Re: New (to me) Grandland X

Hello everyone and thank you for having me. I live in Portugal, more precisely in Cascais. I'm 53, married with 3 children (my middle son lives and works in London!). I've been on the Forum for a couple of weeks but haven't registered until now. I have an Opel Grandland X, 1.5D, 130hp, 30000km, 202...

Re: Steering wheel. Grandland X

Hey GrandlandX68. Thanks for the info, wasn’t aware antibacterial gel would have been the culprit. Any ideas on who would re-trim a steering wheel? Or is this a Google search? I’ll do that anyway. Don’t fancy a cover, we left the 1970’s 50 years ago. 😂 No problem I dont think anyone was aware it wo...

Re: Directional Headlight Fault

It sounds like it cant adjust the pattern of where it wants to go.
It would be a trip back to the dealership I am afraid as it only just been replaced it should be under warranty.

Re: Steering wheel. Grandland X

Hey PeteW.

The steering wheel is peeling due to the antibacterial gel people used during covid which damages the leather other members reported this issue aswell.
You might be able to get the steering wheel retrimmed or get a cover if not I am afraid it would be a new steering wheel.
