I have a 69 plate Grandland X, does this year of vehicle suffer the same issues?

Re: Fuel Tank (Petrol) Full
The gauge seems to have corrected itself, took it on a run of 100 miles, when I returned to the car to continue my journey the gauge was reading correctly.
I put fuel in today and the gauge again is reading correctly.

Re: Fuel Tank (Petrol) Full
My thoughts were (until I'm able to get to the dealers) to use between 200 - 250 miles then top it back up.
If the gauge is showing empty and I know there is fuel in the tank, is there any chance the miss reading gauge would affect the fuel to be pumped through the car?

Re: Fuel Tank (Petrol) Full
but the gauge is not showing full, only just over 3/4. Any ideas if there is a reset function? DaPa Does you gauge go down as your using the car and using fuel ? It might just be a one off and may fix itself. I filled the tank again, only just over 8 litres and the gauge stayed where it was previou...

Re: Puncture Repair
No, they did not take the tyre off Sounds like it was just a quick fix to get you going. Proper puncture repair requires tyre to be off. My mum was unlucky to have 2 punctures on 2 occasions - one in each rear tyre. They took the tyre off, plugged the hole, patched it from the inside with some rubb...

Puncture Repair
I had the RAC call out to a puncture I sustained, it was a nail in the tyre.
The nail was approx 1 inch from the side of the tyre in the tread.
He fixed it with a plug.
My question is this a safe way to repair the puncture and will it last?

Re: Jump start
I was asked to help out , but it was not practical .As I found it difficult to connect the negative simply because of the lack of space ,plus the positive disconnects as you try to give yourself space to connect the clamp,I dont know about messing up the electrics with a bit of luck someone will le...
