Since updating my firmware I have now noticed that it has introduced a new part of the voice activation. If you touch the steering wheel control and let go straight away it still works as normal working the Nav, phone etc. Now if you hold the voice control a bit longer it goes to a mobile phone voic...

Thanks a lot to jayh1986 I now have live navigation working, it's only taken 6 month and several visits to my dealer and several mails to Vauxhall customer services who obviously all do not know how to get it working.

I had a similar problem, you need to enable the live navigation in your vauxhall connect account from the store. I am just the same, unable to connect to live navigation or connect to vehicle data on the app. I have had a case on going with customer services for a couple of months and still waiting for response from their IT department.

Mine is a 2018.5 build Elite Nav, I've had the email to say live navigation is now connected but still unable to get it to work. How did you find that yours is not compatible for vehicle data, I get the data ok using the On Star app.

I just wish mine would work, I am obviously connecting it up correctly as my advice works for others. I cannot get vehicle data or live navigation. I raised a case and was told to talk to the dealer, spoke to them and they did not know anything about it so they have raised it again with Vauxhall.

I am in am unable to get mine working yet but to get your vehicle data on the My vauxhall app you just need to have normal Bluetooth connection same as using your phone, to get live navigation you need to connect your phone using Bluetooth tethering this then let's the car info system to use your ph...

Mine is android LG phone but still not getting any vehicle data or live navigation. Vauxhall customer services said speak to the dealer, they have gone back to vauxhall because they don't know why it won't work.

Bluetooth tethering is enabled see red line next to G7 ThinQ and then the Bluetooth symbol.
