Re: Firmware Update
I have the phone connected to the car ok now but still do not get any vehicle data, driven about 10 mile, and do not get tom tom on the Nav screen. The app does not say that it is connected. Have just deleted the Bluetooth connections and re connected it but no difference.

How do you connect Bluetooth tethering to the car system? I have Bluetooth connected to the infant phone part of the system, but unable to get Vauxhall connect to work at all.

Re: Privacy Glass
If you ordered it in Aug 2019 you will have got a 2020 year build and the spec for the Elite Nav is an optional extra of £275 and only standard on SRI and Ultimate.

Re: Firmware Update
You do not have to sit still with the engine running for an hour, it will update just as well if you go for a nice ride around the country.

Re: Sat Nav Risk Areas
This is a Peugeot function offered at an extra cost, it does not work on the Grandland. Discussed it with Vauxhall and they are not interested.

Re: de-activating alarm
There is a button above the screen and central. If you push and hold it a few seconds it lights up. This will deactivate the sensors in the cabin. Not sure if you can turn the whole thing off.

Re: Stop / Start Benefits?
Mines manual needs to be out of gear clutch raised but no handbrake on. The benefit is that it can save you fuel. I only lift the clutch is I will be stopped for a time.
