Re: Missing heated steering wheel

On the Grandland X Hybrid the heated steering wheel was not part of the spec but it is on the Grantland (according to website and brochures). Our Grandland X came missing auto-dipping mirrors no one knew why the only upside was that the car came with tinted windows instead which were not standard. I...

Re: Primacy 3 Tyres

The review may help, I have had Bridgestone on a few cars and found them decent. I don't think it will solve the wear issue as the 17" wheels on a previous SE which were Bridgestone's were only slightly less wear wise than the Primacy 3 tyres. Although they are now on their 4th iteration. But B...

Re: Primacy 3 Tyres

Tyre wear on the Grandland is mainly down to the slightly over assisted brakes which increases tyre wear. Both our 17" and 19" wheel Grantland's have tyre wear that is much quicker than I have found on other makes and models owned.

Re: Stop / Start issues

Never has this across two Grandland's a 68 and 21 plate. The joy of having so many complex electrical systems. I have never found SS to be that great on all of the cars I have owned which have had it. So many parameters have to be met before it will work as well. Oil temp, battery level, brake press...

Re: Door trims squeaky

Yep, that is pretty normal not a great design - ours does not squeak when you rest your elbow but squeeze it like you have demonstrated it makes that noise. Only upside is it does not make any noise in day to day driving only when you apply pressure...

Re: Collision sensor

It does sound like a moisture issue most likely on the connector or just a poor connection somewhere. Faults like that are a pain as hard to find - I did not realise it would not start if there is a fault! It is not a connector you can either try blowing some hot air on with a hairdryer or a bit of ...

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here!

Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a Grandland X 1.2 Nav Sport or similar. I currently drive a Nissan Qashqai owner of a 2016 1.6 automatic diesel and im getting around 55 MPG. I briefly drove a Grandland X and did see 55 MPG in a duel carriageway. I have a couple of questions; - What is everyone gett...

Re: New grandland dates

I noted that the wheels are 19inch and everything seems to work fine although you would have thought that auto wipers would mean AUTO, nope you have to activate them every time you stop the engine bit strange. Also, both front seats have electronic height and lumbar support but then become manual t...
