Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here!
Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a Grandland X 1.2 Nav Sport or similar. I currently drive a Nissan Qashqai owner of a 2016 1.6 automatic diesel and im getting around 55 MPG. I briefly drove a Grandland X and did see 55 MPG in a duel carriageway. I have a couple of questions; - What is everyone gett...

Re: New grandland dates
I noted that the wheels are 19inch and everything seems to work fine although you would have thought that auto wipers would mean AUTO, nope you have to activate them every time you stop the engine bit strange. Also, both front seats have electronic height and lumbar support but then become manual t...

Re: Brake discs not lasting long
I don't think they could have put on new pads looking at that and the disks do seem more worn and rusted than I would have expected for 7500 miles look closer to 20-30,000 miles as the wear lip is quite prominent????

Re: Brake discs not lasting long
Nope never had an issue, either you pads are worn or there is grit that has got between the pad and disk. If squealing is just before you come to a stop some copper grease is most likely needed on the anti-rattle clips. From what you describe better off getting new disks and pads fitted but seek a r...

Re: New grandland dates
Got my New Grandland 1.2 Ultimate on the 1st of March, I was told by the dealer ( Pentagon Sheffield ) I was the first in the UK to get the 2022 version which included night vision and different alloys. 33 grands worth. Night vision is superb and makes driving at night so much better. As you can se...

Re: Looking at a 2019 GrandLand 1.2 Auto Sport Nav
Sounds like you have a plan and £500 is not too bad especially if you get a good deal as the peace of mind is always a good thing to have. Used prices are still quite high, great if selling not so great if buying. I cannot see prices dropping much until next year, although too much of a fall will se...

Re: Looking at a 2019 GrandLand 1.2 Auto Sport Nav
The one I was looking at I have knocked on the head. I didn't like some things, such as miles and previous owners so walked away. Do you think it's worth considering one or should I avoid it?, and if I did consider one what should I do about the belt situation? Is replacing the belt straight away a...

Re: Looking at a 2019 GrandLand 1.2 Auto Sport Nav
The belt issue is well documented and yes it could suffer the very same issue. However, the failure rate on the Grandland X is small when you look at the number on the roads and reported belt issues, some have looked into having a warranty to cover it and may be something to negotiate into the deal?

Re: Door trims squeaky
It is covered under warranty, you can just ease them up with plastic trim removal tool and put some felt tape round.asrajarajan wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 12:21 pm Is this covered under warranty or something that dealer can fix ? Not sure i can remove the switches easily without breaking some clips. It already feels flimsy.
