Re: Door trims squeaky
Yes, Checked the noise is very evident when openeing and closing the door from inside, If you put any pressure on the door trims near switches, it makes noise. Will check with the service team about the fix Yes that was the issue I had, there is a fix for it as well, even though under warranty, I f...

Re: Door trims squeaky
Are you sure it is the door trims and not the rubber trim around the door that needs cleaning? Or is it the plastic around the grab handle/window switch trim, which on our 2018, SE squeaked and I ended liffting it out and up putting felt tape around it to prevent it. Our 2021 does not squeak so have...

Some self tapping screws? Yep, self tapping screws. means they can be removed easily if damaged. thanks cyberbob yeah, I just checked the box and they have supplied pop rivets, so dump them and drill a small 2mm (say) hole and then stainless steel self tappers, nothing too long I guess? Yep, 2mm pi...

Re: Grandland X GM Mudflaps
If you turn the wheels to full lock, there is enough space to fit them and means wheels don't need to come off. I just drilled small pilot holes then used screws instead of the supplied pot rivets. Took me 10 mins a corner to fit. Some self tapping screws? Yep, self tapping screws. means they can b...

Re: Recent Vauxhall Update failure
Finally analysed the bits to and from line with WireShark and could see the far end server not responding. Tried again this morning and all appears ok. It would be better if Vauxhall Update had generated a more accurate error message such as "Server Unavailable". Did pinging the sever not...

Re: Grandland X Griffin under specification
Went through this in May last year with our Elite Nav and missing auto-dipping mirrors, never got to an actual answer other than not fitted at the factory. In simple terms the module was not available due to the chip shortage so not installed at the factory. We ended up with tinted windows instead t...
