While going onto My Vauxhall or Vauxhall update to download the latest sat nav updates I get the same message from both sites saying " VAUXHALL UPDATE does not allow the update for this vehicle. We recommend you access the website of the brand". My car is 2019 Grandland X bBus Nav edition 1.2 petrol.

Hi exmokkaman just double check your VIN if no luck then I think you will have to contact Vauxhall customer care who will need to send an email to the tech team to resolve the issue.

This is one way of getting an error "It required all on-road vehicles sold to contain a 17-character VIN, which does not include the letters O (o), I (i), and Q (q) (to avoid confusion with numerals 0, 1, and 9)."

Follow the Moss5 tip.
I also had this problem and replaced the letters "O" with the number "0" and solved my problem.
It also applies to the letters "Q" and "I" with numbers "9" and "1".
