Hi newbie member here my first question is regarding replacing the rear pads on a 2018 Grandland x with the electric handbrake
I've searched for videos and can't find any is it possible to replace them without using a computer diagnostic tool is it a simple matter of releasing the handbrake turn off the ignition then dismantlethe brakes and wind the pistons back fit the new pads then apply the handbrake and pump the pedal
I've done them on my sons kuga that has an electronic handbrake without any diagnostic tools or computer by jacking car up removing the wheels then released the handbrake in the car turned the ignition off then dismantled the brakes and wound the piston back and everything was fine fitted new pads switched the ignition back on applied the handbrake a few times to get the pistons back out
TIA
