Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a little advice.
Shortly after I bought my Grandland 1.5d, my wife took it to work for the first time. While she was traveling back, she got stuck in stop/start traffic, and the car started giving a warning that the clutch temperature was high (clutch temperature high, limit use of the clutch pedal). Naturally, I accused her of riding the clutch, and that was that.
Today, I drove the car to work and stopped off to grab something before going in. I left the car running for the use of the aircon (in neutral with the handbrake on). Once I finished, I continued to drive in, and the same warning reared its head again. This time, I know I wasn't riding the clutch...
The car has done 25,000 miles, and the clutch doesn't feel as if it's slipping, and there is definitely no smell of burning or anything.
