My local dealer says it needs a new screen. I think it's not the screen but warranty should be covered so have to go with what they say for now. Waiting on an ETA for psrts

Hi, we have a 22 Plate Grandland 1.2 auto Ultimate and have had two new screens within the first six months! I find the real pain is updating it as the download takes about an hour then about 45 mins of the car running (and wasting fuel!) to update it. It's such a bad infotainment system and having to go through three menus to get to park assist is a joke when the but has been blanked off near the gear selector. We have said we would never have another Vauxhall as the build quality is terrible and customer service is awful. They know about the screen problem but don't like to advertise it!

As suspected it wasn't the screen at fault but the receiver module. Dealer fitted a new receiver today but having trouble getting it programmed to the car so they have the car a day longer than expected. Hopefully will be all fixed tomorrow.

Just got my car back. Took over 2 weeks to get fixed as the new module wouldn't talk to the rest of the car correctly. Main reason for delay was because Vauxhall technical dept needed to remotely connect to the car to program it but they took over a week to even try.
My display is working properly now.

Glad you got it fixed. I got a whole new unit (same screen) and all working again. While it was in I also had to get a new drivers door handle, rear passenger door lock plus battery was needing charged (strange as the battery was only a few weeks old!). Had it back a few weeks and the wet belt went so I’ve not had the car for nearly 5 weeks now, seems I have no luck with it at all!

Wow, some bad luck there, including the inefficiency of team Vauxhall. I trust you are not having to pay for the wet belt situation. That would be the icing on the cake 😁😁.

No luckily not paid for a thing that’s went wrong with the car. The worry is what will go next! Just can’t afford to lose 3-4K or I’d be getting rid of it as been sure a huge worry and stress
