Even though some on here have said they have done long journeys and it still obviously ain't stopped the problem. I'm curious to know if any of the people who have had agm batteries fitted have had the problem return yet and its just took longer because of the better quality battery.

Well that was a waste of time, went in for 2 recalls and stop start issue. Told there is no faults on the stop start and they have had it working, they've done a battery reset so that is whats probably solved the problem. I've took it on a good drive round and stop start has not worked once. Angry phone call pending.

You like many others and myself just get fobbed off Battery is ok Yes it’s ok if you physically give it a full charge .But later on same day or next S&S won’t work again then out of the blue it sometimes works
We all need a battery an AGM This I believe will help solve the problem Vauxhall will not listen and for there dealerships it’s a lottery .One or Two around the country will help and replace with AGM ? So keep complaining to Vauxhall Time for us all to have the fault fixed ??

Its a joke. Case re opened with Vauxhall, still ain't gonna get anywhere because they are still not acknowledging the fact its a common problem. Problem is as well it always seems to be another 2 weeks to get it booked in again.

Waist of time going to dealership. They will keep car all day even overnight.Charge Battery and say it’s now working ok You’ll also be told your not driving enough to keep battery charged .Before I got a new battery I drove from Edinburgh to Manchester and back and it still never worked I was told to drive drive drive I said 500 miles and still not working .I got a new Vauxhall battery. Was great for first few weeks. But it’s still better than first battery Now my s&s works when I leave my car sitting for a week works first stop and for a few stops then won’t work again for a few days .I was also told I had to many gadgets in my car and this will drain the battery crash camera 1 usb for my phone to charge

I gave up many months ago trying to get the s/s issue sorted on my Grandland. Travelled from Newcastle under Lyme down to Brixham....... s/s worked once when we arrived into Brixham......on the return journey we got held up in traffic.....s/s did not work....... i have got use to not having this working now. Vauxhall customer services are not interested and dealership dont seem bothered either. I find it very frustrating. ,!!!!!
I have commented on this forum in the past about this issue, opened cases with Vauxhall, had vehicle in dealership.... got nowhere... i just give up.
Always had Vauxhall vehicles but this will be my last. Vauxhall do not seem to care anymore about their customers.

I have to agree that my battery was replaced and it worked for a little while. Now its stopped working again. It just flashes the Green symbol on the dashboard. I will mentioned it when it goes for it service but cant see it being resolved.

Hi Lock-N, I already did that by emailing the Exec office thats how I got my battery replaced but will contact again just before my car goes in but dont think it will make much of a difference as they said once the battery was replaced if I wanted it replaced again the cost would be up to me.
