Hi everyone,
Subject message showing in dash on start up, took to main dealer for full diagnostics.Diagnostics showed battery voltage module as faulty, had new one fitted but fault remains the same, dealer put old one back, no other faults showing so dealer has contacted VAUXHALL as what action they can take next, will wait for dealer to contact me.Car is safe to drive with no other faults.Glad I took out warranty.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

UPDATE: No fault found with new module, old one put back in, no charge. Booked in with main dealer for a full week, hopefully fault will be rectified.
This is my first Vauxhall I hope it's not my last.

How did it go? I have the same, I had a VX service and drove it home and it wouldn't start the next day, the AA man said that in start/Stop vehicles it needs a new battery every 4 years, after ringing VX they couldn't get it back in for over a week, I then went to Halfords and had a new battery fitted, then the S/S start to work again not worked for the past 3 years, but now it if we go on holiday for 2 weeks it has to be jump started, also goes flat once a month, I now charge it up once every 3 weeks, It might aswell be electric ! , just Ordered a OBD reader to see if i can read the code?
hope you get it sorted.

Had the car in a local garage yesterday for the fault coming up "Electrical circuit system: repair needed", just typical on the day the fault would not display! The mechanic carried out a diagnostic check and found error codes:
B1865 Starter Relay Control Circuit (May explain why the Start/Stop has never worked)
B1003 Electronic Control Unit Software, malfunction
He advised if the fault returns it would be best to take to a Vauxhall dealer or a Vauxhall specialist as they would have the ability to update the software.
I will see if the error returns and report back.

Car is at present with main dealer for 1 WEEK, they are in touch with Vauxhall. I have told the main dealer I want the car back on 19th september as it went in on the 12th sept.
How hard can it be to find a fault with the equipment and technicians they have?

Hey, that’s a tough break! I had a similar issue once where a dashboard warning persisted even after replacing parts. Having a warranty definitely helps. It’s a good move that your dealer’s reaching out to Vauxhall for more guidance. Hopefully, they’ll figure it out soon. Just keep an eye on things in case anything else comes up.

Hi , I got myself a OBD reader but it saying there is no fault stored, possibly got one that doesn't talk to Vauxhall vehicles, but it did say the voltage is at 11.8 volts, so I've put it on charge and 11 hours later at 0.8A it's still charging, something not right.

Unfortunately the error has returned, I have booked the car in with the main Vauxhall dealer for the 26th September. Very annoying as no issues with the car and driving everyday. Was informed it would be £144 to just carry out the diagnostic check seems steep to me, anyone else paying a similar price at a Vx main dealer? Reading other posts not looking forward to the final bill if parts need replacing. Will update back when the car has been looked at.
