Anyone getting turbo lag specially on a cold day?

Petrol or Diesel, more information please.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond, however only at 1700 miles so far. Performance seems very good for the size of engine, so have no problem with turbo lag. Previously drove turbo diesels which had nearly twice the torque, which gave the instant power while turbo pressure rose before kicking in.

Nope, no lag for me in a 1.2 petrol - just va va vroom! (sorry - wrong car....but...lol)

I have had what I suspect is a slight turbo lag on the odd occasion but nothing to raise any concern. I am still surprised by the power and nippiness of the 1.2 and I love the the sound of the growl you can get from the engine.

If it is from pulling away I suspect it's not actually turbo lag more the auto box trying to catch up.
