Automatic Breaking Failure

I’ve had my Grandland X for about 2 months and every so often I get a warning alarm when driving with a warning light saying ‘automatic breaking failure’ . I can’t find anything to troubleshoot it so thought I’d ask here. Has anyone else seen this? It doesn’t happen all the time, just sporadically.

I’ve had the same thing just once, it’s gone to Vauxhall’s today for diagnostics, though the lady on service desk was a bit vague and said it would be flagged to Vauxhall’s as it’s a new car and they haven’t heard of it before!

Did you have any luck with yours? They had mine in for a month but couldn’t replicate the fault so nothing could be done... however last night it happened again.

It might be the safety assistance sensors. I had the same fault. Wiping the sensors (most of all the square flat surface under the registration plate) clean solved it.
