Wireless Charging

Just bought a new IPhone 8 on contract, this has the ability for wireless charging, so thought I could now try out the wireless charging in the Grandland.
No matter which way round or upside down, it would not charge.
If it’s charging the green light would come on, all I got was an orange light, which means no.
Phone was not inside a case, under placed under the elastic strap, and in contact with the charging plate. So any ideas ?

Hi mate,

The grandland x wireless charger does not support iPhones for some very odd reason. Only supports a handful of devices.

My dealer did not even know this there is a post on this forum about it
