Radio recall

Hi peps ! My 18 plate GX is booked in for a recall on the radio. Apparently it's being replaced or upgraded or something. Has anyone else had this and what can I expect. Are the differences very noticeable?

Ive had the recall done on the radio/infotainment system, theres no difference to it other than it wont crash anymore which was the problem that I had. Everyone was hoping they would fix the problem with the dark text that no one could read, but it seems they didnt want to do that....

Thats just one of the things on a new model car, Vauxhall learn from the problems of the first buyers to correct them for later buys so we are effectively guinea pigs I guess. I had to have an entire new infotainment system put in so they could use my old one for testing.

Here I was being a (frustrated) guinea pig....
