Hi All,

Have been using Android Auto for a while but have always noticed a small black bar at the top of the screen. The icons all look fine, circles are circular, but it's not using the full screen. Wife uses apple car play and it fills the whole screen. Anyone experience the same? Running a Google Pixel 2.

I've only used Android Auto once so am not 100% sure, but don't think the display was full screen unlike Apple car play.

Just checked mine, yes small bar at top you can see some of the time

Pity! It's not terrible by any means, still works just as well, but thought it might have been a configuration issue with my phone. Thanks for checking!

Same here, logged a bug with google, they said its not a widespread issue so probably down to my unit.
Just getting ready to file a bug with the dealer.
CarPlay is full screen on my unit, bit android auto is not, tried 4 different phones...
Opel Grandland X, Ultimate + sunroof + alarm, Topaz Blue, 1.6T petrol
