Not used my for nearly 4 weeks now and today thought I’d let the engine run for a while .What I noticed was when sitting with the clutch pressed in I couldn’t get the car to go over the 3 Rpm

It's normal thing. Feature that cares about your engine.

Extract from owners manual....
Turbo engine warm-up
Upon start-up, engine available
torque may be limited for a short time,
especially when the engine
temperature is cold. The limitation is
to allow the lubrication system to fully
protect the engine.

Thank you Just never come across this before.Ill have to try again when car is at operating Temp .I can see the logic in protecting the system.A good protection for cold starts
