I note my post is some what of a repeat of an earlier one but owners will come on to this at different times so may not go far enough back for the answer.

Hi all so just purchased a 2018 Grandland X Sport nav 1.2 petrol I used the Vauxhall site and download the new firmware and maps also registered and activated Navigation plus.

Firmware 21.08.87.32 updated fine

Maps 20.0.0 version not compatible

I have also tried downloading the Maps from searching Tom-tom on the forums and they all don't work same message not compatible I am using a 32gb USB stick been trying 7 days now lol.

The Maps on my Grandland is 4.0.2.ro (2017.1.20 )

Any advise or help appreciated

Hi Jason Simm this error can occur if the software has not loaded correctly on the USB. I would try formatting your USB and try again. If this does not work try another USB.

Format the drive as FAT32, NTFS will not work as the device manufacture has to pay a licence fee to Microsoft to use it, so many stick with FAT32 as is free...

Thanks for the help my old 32GB USB stick must of had some bad sector's on it as it was formated to FAT32 with several attempts to upload the map.

I put the new 16Gb USB stick in to pc formated to FAT32 update from Vauxhaul app and installed with no issues

Now a happy chap 2018 Grandland X Sport Nav all update and only 8k miles on it 😁

Hi Everyone.

European map 22.0.0-r0 for NAC Wave 2 has been released and is now showing in the Vauxhall Update App.

Yesterday I updated the Touch Screen system build to 21.08.87.32_NAC-r1 via Vauxhall Update, downloaded to PC/USB stick and then to car. I was also given map 22.0.0-r0. I am surprised no-one has mentioned the changes.
All the main grey text is now white; for example radio, artists, albums and other options. Also the vertical journey progress bar, when under route guidance, displays the proportion of journey completion by moving the chequered flag downwards. Finally, the map shows the recent vehicle path by changing the road colouring behind the vehicle. All these changes, and perhaps others I haven't noticed, are since my previous build 21.08.87.72_NAC-V1 together with PSA map 20. But notice the system build numbering. From that, it looks as though the system has been downgraded!
