Radio fault

Hi

My radio starts to crackle and break up after using for about an hour before cutting out all together. This happens on both FM and DAB, even when i try to find an alternative station all are affected.
Garage say it’s fine, anyone else having the same issue?

Doesn’t sound fine to me unless you happen to be in a poor reception area. Sounds like an issue with the aerial, if it happens all over the areas where you would expect good reception then get it sorted. I noticed dab reception on the grandland is not as good as it was on my astra, but I know the weak areas now so I can expect it.

Thanks, happens no matter where I am. I suggested a lose aerial connection to the garage as it sounded like a reasonable possibility only to be scoffed at. Car back in the garage next week fingers crossed they fix it before I drive to Cornwall
