The other day the clock suddenly adjusted itself to be 4 hours ahead of time, then about 20 minutes later it jumped forward another 4 hours ! It’s not the first time that this has happened and it’s not the first fault that I’ve had with my 19 plate 1.2 Turbo.
The gearbox is noisy and has lots of vibration through the gear-lever, thankfully it has stopped jumping out of gear, the engine sounds like a 1980’s Diesel and it’s only done 9.5k miles !
Other faults have been dead dashboard, high pressure fuel pump failure ( that came up as a clutch warning on the dashboard, the car was parked and I had just started it, I didn’t have my foot on the clutch ! ) starter motor failed, eco mode would come on only when it wanted to and sometimes it wouldn’t switch off.
I’ve had lots of different Vauxhall’s in the past, from little Novas to Vectra GSI and I really don’t think I will be buying another Vauxhall after this, the whole idea of buying a new Vauxhall was the reliability.
