Map update version 18

Just downloaded maps version 18 from the TomTom site. All worked fine

Has anyone successfully downloaded And installed maps update On a Apple Mac.
Tried many times never ever seen a licence folder ??

Map updates do not need a license file or folder

I updated my Map to version 18 couple of weeks ago and I'm not that impressed, a 100mtr road between two roundabouts on the A5 just past Dunstable now looks as if it's not usable so my Sat Nav tried to send me through Dunstable when it wasn't necessary. and travelling Down the M6/M1 it wanted to take me off the motorway at J15 when the shortest route was J14 (although I prefer J11A)
