I picked up my new Grandland 2 week ago. Yesterday the alarm started to go off for no visible reason after I lock the car.
I leave the car and lock it as normal then a minute or two later the alarm goes off.
I have tried -
checking all doors and windows including the bonnet, fuel cap, and boot
disconnected the battery for 60 secs
deactivated the sensory inside the car (not sure if I did this correctly but I have tried every way I can)
Please help

The AA has just been out. The bonnet sensory is faulty / lose / not fitted correctly. The guy has disconnected it for now so I can lock the car and I'll need to take it to the dealer on Monday morning

That's a relief you got to the bottom of it. Very odd, but welcome on board and let's hope you have more happy motoring.... what model did you get?
