Hi, we've had our new Grandland X for almost 2 months now, and making a call hands free using Google has worked without any problems...until today.
So usually my phone is connected to the Navi 5.0 intellilink system by Bluetooth. It's an Android phone, so I press and hold the voice recognition button on the steering wheel until the Google sound prompt, and then just say who I want to call.
What I found today is that now when I press and hold the button on the steering wheel nothing happens. No sound, nothing. Sometimes it causes the screen to freeze on the Navi 5.0 (radio still plays etc) but to clear the screen and reset it I have to turn off the ignition.
I found that sometimes after restarting the car, I can make a call once using Google voice recognition but then once I try a second time same problem, pressing the button on the steering wheel does absolutely nothing.
Anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how to do a reset on the Navi 5.0?
Thanks in advance!
