Ok just transfer from the pc once unzipped to the USB don't open the files when transferred. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to upload to the car.

PUT VERSION 21-08-84-12 ON THIS MORNING , IT INSTALLED PERFECTLY IN 40 MINUTES .
IM SO GLAD THAT THE ONSTAR LOGO HAS GONE , AND THE TEMP IS IN WHITE AT LAST .
WHY DOES IT NOT NEED A LICENSE FILE NOW TO INSTALL IT INTO THE CAR .

Hi, I have downloaded this version using the link provided and unzipped it to a USB via 7-Zip and tried to install it through the USB connection in the front of the car but all I get is an error message saying no media on the file.
What am I doing wrong, could someone please outline the successful process they followed.

I downloaded it and used 7-zip to unzip it to the pc . I then Transferred the SWL and Updateinfo folders from the pc to the USB.

Thanks Grandlandx68, I followed the instructions but get an error message 'not compatable with hardware' so I am stuck unless anyone else has a suggestion.

Make sure your USB is formatted before doing it so the USB is not corrupt.
