Hello Guys!
My Grandland X Elite Nav is quite a good spec and I am very happy with all the gadgets and systems. The only thing that I don't like is the instrument cluster that is a bit old school. Most of the cars from that year come with a more modern looking, digital one. New Insignia and Astra models come with digital ones as well and it makes a big difference in my opinion. Makes the car more 'fresh' and modern and probably more convenience to drive.

Would it be possible to retrofit one to a Grandland X? Has anybody already tried it? Do you know anybody that could help fitting one?

I've checked some other Vauxhall forums and noticed that it is possible to retrofit one from Vauxhall Insignia B to older Insignias and new Astras as well. It looks like it is exactly the same shape, and connectors look to be the same as well (I've compared some photos found online) so it definitely fits. I am sure that some coding will be needed too.

What are your thoughts? Here's an example of one in new Insignia:
