Hi

Remove the Black trim that surrounds the Buttons below the screen.
Pull off the silver effect trim be careful as you don't want to break it.
One you have done this you access to the screws to be able to remove the Nav Screen

Ahhh that explains that. I thought your camera was the same as mine and connected down behind the panel st the footwell.

It might be I couldn't see any cables that weren't meant to be there. I was just trying to eliminate any other problems. I will check there next. 😁

Can anybody help with the removal of the Satnav unit from my Grandland x 2018 ? I cannot get the chrome trim surround off and am worried about breaking it. I live in Spain and info on cars is minimal. Thanks

Hi stewart21 .

Its not the easy trim to take off but that is the only way to get the sat nav out. The Grey trim around the Nav screen is tougher than you think. As long as you do it gently and slowly pull it off it should be fine.
The grey trim in the picture shown below needs to be taken off once this has been done then access is much easier to the nav screen.

Just tried no luck. The whole screen is moving. Not sure if there is a different means of securing it specific to my model. Just managed to chip a corner of the screen. Any suggestions?
